May is warm in the day and cool at night. The sea is swimmable if you are brave, and nobody dresses up for dinner here.
The list
A swimsuit, two if you swim daily
Sandals you can walk the coast path in
One warm layer for the roof at night
A hat, a book and no laptop if you can manage it
Sunscreen, which is expensive on the island
We have towels, parasols, bikes, snorkels and a shelf of paperbacks. Leave the rest at home.
